Assessment Logistics

The most cost effective way of taking an assessment is to gather a small group of 4-5 people together.

Option 1

Assessments can take place at a candidates facility, using their own horse, equipment, groom, enclosed driving area and public roads if applicable. Assuming suitable and an assessor is available in their area, this service will require the applicant to cover travelling costs at 40p per mile in addition to the standard fee. Please enquire. (The assessor will have the right to cancel the assessment on the day if any of the above are deemed unsuitable, with the full fee and costs due.)

Option 2

The assessment can take place at the HHTC training centre, in Cambridgeshire, utilising their horse(s), equipment and facilities.

In addition to the assessment fees the below charges would be payable directly to the training centre.

Training centre charge for a single horse is £150 (This includes use of the horse, implement/vehicle and harness)

Training centre charge for a pair of horses is £250 (This includes use of the horses, implement/vehicle and harness)

A groom can be provided at £50.

Small group discounts may be available, please enquire.

Option 3

If you wish to use your own horse(s) and equipment and we do not have an assessor available in your area, and you are able to travel then a mutually convenient and suitable location can be agreed between us.
